NAASN

The second annual North American Anarchist Studies Network (NAASN) Conference is being held at the Steelworkers Hall (25 Cecil Street) this weekend, Jan 15-16, 2010. [Sorry folks, I will be up North participating in a sweat lodge so I won’t be able to attend but please give my revolutionary love.]

All proceeds will go to the G20 legal defense fund.

NAASN’s statement of purpose (draft 2010)  

What are we for? The North American Anarchist Studies Network (NAASN) is intended

1.) to serve as a means of mutual support for North American anarchists engaged in intellectual work, both theoretical and empirical;

2.) to facilitate and promote anarchist studies by bringing together students, academics, independent scholars, and activists from across the United States, Canada, and Mexico; and

3.) to provide a space for critical dialogue and reflection on anarchism.
