rabble.ca will have an information table this week at PSAC’s national convention, which gets underway Sunday at the brand new Vancouver Convention Centre.

The PSAC website describes the mandate of this union:

“Formed in 1966, the Public Service Alliance of Canada is one of Canada’s largest unions. A truly national union representing 165,000 members from coast to coast to coast, the PSAC also maintains an international profile through its representation of members who work abroad in embassies and consulates.”

“A vital and democratic union, the PSAC strives to enhance the quality of life for its membership and has been at the vanguard of a variety of significant and successful campaigns for workplace and human rights, including the struggle for equal pay, enhanced workplace health and safety and the rights of same sex spouses.”

If you are a delegate or an observer at the PSAC convention, stop by and visit the rabble.ca table to say hello and browse our literature and information. We will have ‘best of rabble’ books and t-shirts for sale, and you could even pass on your suggestions for content to the editorial staff and volunteers who will be there throughout the week.
