Nelson Mandela has died at the age of 95 at his home in Johannesburg.
Mandela was South Africa’s first democratically elected and first black president, after spending 27 years in prison for his resistance to South Africa’s Apartheid regime. In 1994 he led South Africa’s transition from white-minority rule.
