My point is that bubbie is neither a member of the cons nor a member of the libs nor is she friends of or ever met Susan.

So how did she get the 2 cards?

So either it was a public list that was purchased, a phone book look up or something.

But that is why I think that Susan protests too much.

Unfort the only card Bubbie did not get was from Jack and the NDP or she would have hit the trifecta

JPJ, perhaps your grandmother can ask the Privacy Commissioner to find out how she got on both of these lists.

It seems like a no-brainer that if you are sending out cards to strangers who will have no idea how they were identified as Jews (or incorrectly identified in some cases) and they have not previously communicated with you or your party, that those people are not going to be won over this way.
