But in a way, don't you wish politicians would talk like that here and at least let us know what they really think?

This guy didn't offend me. I believe he was promoting stray cats not denigrating the homeless. That's how his statement reads in context. And I can't imagine our mayor lunching with the homeless at a shelter, so good for him.
