Trudeau can’t afford to let this finance minister conflict of interest situation fester especially now that NAFTA appears to be toast. For Trudeau’s sake, and more importantly, for the good of the country as we negotiate NAFTA’s replacement, Morneau needs to step down sooner, rather than later.
