piece of shit trolling our site. Rot in hell, slime!
Troll alert
I thought you liked my posts! :(
Probably insomnia!
Hey folks, the user is banned. I started closing the threads then realized that I'd be at it for hours (not a good use of my time) so I'm leaving the rest as is. They'll eventually get pushed back by real content but I ask for your patience while that happens. Boy, this is the worst spam attack we've had in years.
Thanks, Meg!
Hopefully as per Babble policy the offending commercial spam will in due course be removed. Especially since the search/finder is next to useless.
Any theories as to why they'd start spamming audio equipment manuals? Usually, it's promos for pay-for-view sports.

Unfortunately there is no way to remove the spam except on an individual basis, and that would take hours of time that I don't have. We'll just have to wait until they move down the ATs. And yes, the search function is garbage. My complaints about it, thus far, have gone unheard.
There are people who have slaves overseas and what the slaves do is make posts to the Internet. There are whole office buildings full of them. The slave owners then collect the penny or two the hits might engender, when someone somewhere clicks on a link. When you don't have to pay wages, a penny or two is big money.

I've mentioned this before, but I use Google to search. Just insert site:rabble.ca/babble in the search bar, followed by whatever search terms you like. It works.
You can restrict your search to a particular forum name - e.g. feminism - by inserting site:rabble.ca/babble/feminism, then your search terms.
There are other ways to refine your searches as well. But anything is better than the rabble search function.
Thanks MegB and Unionist
Perhaps a bottle drive for the pecunarily indisposed to raise funds? Bingo, kissing booth or online gambling? Be creative - everyone can help somehow.
