The campaign is funded by Police Scotland and the Scottish Government under the One Scotland campaign, which aims to tackle hate crime.
The ads are in the form of a letter, signed on behalf of Scotland, and take aim at those who discriminate against disabled people, members of the LGBTQ+ community and ethnic minorities.

Someone does need to tell them about Down Syndrome, though.
Like most developmental disabilities it is named after a Doctor not a patient. Grammatically it is more correct to say Down's instead of Downs as we do in Canada.

When I was younger, I thought it was "Down's", and I saw that a lot. Then I found out it's "Down", but I still saw "Down's" a lot. Then, suddenly, everyone seemed to be spelling it right. How often does that happen? Anyway, now I can't not notice that "s".
"Down's" has been common usage in most places for a long while. The people most likely to tell ableist jokes would be much more familiar with seeing it as "Down's" rather than "Down-and I'd venture to guess most of the people even seeing this series of ads. I'll concede, having heard this now for the first time, that "Down" is more correct than "Down's", but is it worth possibly losing a major part of the impact of the message by using a form that might simply confuse people?It's "Down".

Actually the best thing is to lose the labels. People with Down/Down's Syndrome are people first and focusing on the label is not helpful. Apparently in Canada we have a Down Syndrome group and in the UK they have a Down's Syndrome group.
