US Vice President Will Visit Ottawa to Push Big Oil's 'Free Trade' Agenda

http://rabble.ca/blogs/bloggers/brent-patterson/2019/05/us-vice-presiden...

"...US VP Mike Pence will be visiting Ottawa on Thursday, May 30 to meet with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to get the deal done 'as swiftly as possible.' Once here, Pence will meet with a willing and receptive Trudeau to advance a deal that does not reference the Paris Climate Agreement, the Green New Deal, or evan the words 'climate change.'

So eager are the Liberals to get the deal RAT-ified, Foreign Affairs Minister Chrystia Freeland says her government is moving 'full-speed ahead' with it. Maybe she was referring to the process in which steam is used to extract bitumen from the tar-sands in Alberta?

I write that because BIG OIL - notably The American Petroleum Institute - is a big supporter of the USMCA (now oddly called CUSMA in Canada)..."

New name worse deal - pressure all Canadian surrender-monkey politicians to SAY NO to the NEW NAFTA enhanced earth destroying, continental corporate cannibalism.

Canadians are so materialistic, they would rather give the US vp a parade and great him with flowers for restoring nafta and big oil jobs!

The vids are worth a view - especially the two minute hates on China and Venezuela.

Never surprised but always disgusted at the power of pretend and denial in our 'Dominion.'

No pro-choice protests against that constipated P.O.S.? (little hard pellets).

A cartoon from the late 60's called Jonny Quest. Some people will get it.

Justin Trudeau and Mike Pence: Unlikely Partners in an Alliance of Necessity

https://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/justin-trudeau-mike-pence-nafta-1.5157846

"The meetings in Ottawa this week between US VP Mike Pence and Prime Minister Justin Trudeau produced a lot of warm words about friendship, shared history, leadership and the importance of the Canada-US trading relationship. It also injected a note of cold reality: This Liberal prime minister is prepared to go a long way to make his relationship with the Trump administration work, even if it means fraying ties with Democrats.

Freeland praised the former Indiana governor [Pence] for his efforts in getting Trump to lift the tariffs. 'And I do want to say he has played an important role in the United States, both in the NAFTA process and the discussions around lifting of the national security tariffs,' she said.

'We are now ready to proceed with ratification of NAFTA,' Freeland said Friday. 'I am in close touch with my counterparts in both Mexico and the United States to be aware of their domestic processes and our intention, in so far as possible, is to move in tandem with our partners.'

If Trump has his way, that will happen this summer."

The continental 1% helps each other get it done.  In Canada the people's popular opposition to this agenda collapsed long ago and no longer exists.
