Story: US Voters Increasingly Alienated by Two Major Parties: Atlanta Progressive News
All is not well in America, it seems. More U.S. voters who identify as independent than as Democrats or Republicans, despite the fact that the two major parties maintain their virtual stranglehold on U.S. politics and, so far, on the 2012 presidential election process.
America has been through five different Party Systems, each time consisting of two major parties:
1. Federalist Party vs. Democratic-Republican Party
2. Democrats vs. Whigs

Quote: The Incomplete Greatness of Barack Obama
He’s gotten more done in three years than any president in decades. Too bad the American public still thinks he hasn’t accomplished anything.

Hello. I am new to socialism, and I would really like to know more aout it. On another forum, I tried to hold the position that there are laws that benefit the rich at the expense of the poor in the United States. It seems that my level of education is not up to the task, and I'm getting routed. I was wondering where I can go to learn about laws that benefit the rich at the expense of the poor and also would like to hear examples of such laws. Sorry if my question seems sophomoric to you all. I really would like to improve.

This looks promising...
Quote: President Barack Obama on Monday will call for a higher minimum tax rate on millionaires to ensure they pay the same rate on their earnings as middle-income taxpayers, according to a White House official.
The plan comes as Obama engages in a months-long, countrywide trek to back his $447 billion jobs bill to reduce 9.1 percent unemployment and restore trust in his economic leadership.

Hello Folks!
We have created a Grassroots Movement called Redneck Party. We take our name from the "Redneck War" of 1921. Google it! My people marched with red bandannas tied around their necks so they wouldn't shoot each other. Seriously though, amidst being called commies they were some of the most courageous and valiant Patriots of their day.
