Two Nights for the Rabble

Our warmest welcome to those who can attend. Our hopes we can arrange something special in the future for those at other locales.

November 17
A Rabble-Rousing Conspiracy
VANCOUVER: A Western Theatre Conspiracy and rabble.ca present an evening of wild words and subversive sounds. Join us on World Peace Day for a jam-packed party in support of independent Webmag rabble.ca and Satiricon B’s production of Night Desk, a new comedy by Tim Carlson, supported by A Western Theatre Conspiracy. Featuring:

  • music by Jon Wood, Rick Maddocks (the band Eight Hands), DJ Construct and the “hot-club swing” of Swing Soniq;
  • comedy by Jesus Murphy;
  • a short film by Pat Harrison, and a reading from Night Desk — one hilariously dark evening in the newsroom;
  • writer and rabble contributing editor Lynn Coady with a preview reading from her new novel, Saints of Big Harbour.
  • Studio 16
    1555 West 7th Avenue @ Granville
    Doors open at 8:30 p.m.
    Admission: $10
