Egyptian revolution January 25, 2011 — Take what’s yours!

This moving music video created by Tamer Shaaban, “another Egyptian who’s had enough,” has been featured on Huffington Post and in the blogospere and has received well over one million hits within four days.

Violent clashes between police and demonstrators as over ten thousand gather on the streets of Cairo. The Egyptian population has endured a tyrants rule for far too long; millions struggle each day to find where their next meal is coming from. January 25, 2011 marks the day when the people rise and take back what’s rightfully theirs. This isn’t the end, but hopefully the beginning to a long awaited regime change! The  song accompanying the video is “Into the fire” by Thirteen Senses. The following news sources were used for the video’s footage: Daily News Egypt, The Guardian, CNN, New York Times and Al Masry Al Youm.
