An average of 32 people are killed by a gun in the United States of America every day, and yet the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) can’t even conduct research into the root causes of all forms of gun violence. The U.S. Congress has banned federal gun violence research since 1996. As images of school shootings shock us, as we hear about absolutely insane gun laws being passed in the United States, federal research on gun violence is banned.
Sign this petition and promote it on social media to push for funding for gun violence research in the United States because it matters.
