The struggle against Bill C-51 continues. Over  285,000 people have signed the petition against this dangerous bill and rallies have been held in over 70 communities and multiple political parties have come out promising that they will repeal the bill if elected. There is a now a positive solution to protect Canadians’ privacy.

Openmedia’s Laura Tribe posted this interactive timeline about the history of the bill.  It is a great story and a testament to organizing by people committed to the principles of civil liberties and democracy.
